The Frame of Mind project was commissioned to bring greater visibility to Rogerson Communities. A non-profit leader in the “aging in community” movement. Fostering dignity, longevity, and the vitality of aging through its innovative housing and healthcare services.

“Storytelling is the building block of culture and our elders have laid the foundation for our collective future. The experience and wisdom of our aspirational mentors is essential to the development of younger generations.”

Aspirational Aging

Co-creators Barbara Quiroga and Olivia Ives-Flores chose women who exude confidence and inspire individuality with grace, gumption and panache. Seven Boston area photographers were commissioned to create a unique profile of each woman.

Wisdom of the Ages

We created a website and two-channel video exhibition which was displayed for one month in Center Court at Copley Place Boston before traveling to the The Shops at Chestnut Hill. Over 50,000 people engaged with the project and discussion of aspirational healthy aging.

They say age is just a number. To the individuals captured in the exhibit “Frame of Mind,” age is irrelevant.
