An Exhibition Celebrating a Dynamic Array of Female Artists.
HOSTED BY THE PEABODY ESSEX MUSEUM & SWEET RICKEY
We believe that art harnesses the unique power to bring people together.
On behalf of the Peabody Essex Museum, Sweet Rickey and GALLERY OH!, we are delighted to present, THE SALON. The curation of this show is an exploration and expression of connection, conversation and collaboration. An artful counterpoint to the global tonality we are currently experiencing.
Joining us from Chile, Cuba, France, Haiti, India, Iran, Japan, Lebanon, Massachusetts, NYC and beyond, each of the Twenty-Four artists, highlighted in this exhibition, elicits a distinct point of view, communicated through different mediums. Although we may find ourselves at different stages in our lives and careers - from the quixotic student to the established sage. The dedication to the creative practice and the insistence on communicating through art is what brings us all together.
